Eckmühl Bed and Breakfast
This bedroom owes its name to the lighthouse of Eckmühl which is erected on the tip of Penmarc’h, in the district of Saint-Pierre, between Saint-Guénolé and Kérity.
The Eckmühl lighthouse, symbolic lighthouse of the area named Pays bigouden, is one of the lighthouses having the most long-range (50 km, on a clear night). It indicates to the sailors the headland southwest of Finistère. The outside made of granite, the inside wall made of opaline, its visit permit you, having climbed 290 steps, to reach a platform : from there, the view on the Audierne bay (up to Pointe du Raz) is splendid.
From the site "Rochers de Saint-Guénolé", where is situated our bed and breakfast, you can walk to the Eckmühl lighthouse by the path GR34, via the fishing port of Saint-Guénolé and the chapel Notre-Dame de la Joie. You can easily go on to Kerity. From there, it is possible to walk to the Pointe de la Torche, via Madeleine chapel and to come back to the "Rochers de Saint-Guénolé" via Pors Carn beach.
