Bed and Breakfast Audierne
This bedroom is called Audierne like the bay which is, at the Rochers of Saint-Guénolé, 80 meters from our guesthouse. This bay extends from the Eckmühl lighthouse, in Penmarc’h, to the Pointe du Raz and the ocean laps, notably, the Pointe de la Torche, the Penhors beach, the Pors-Poulhan harbor (western limit of the area named Pays Bigouden) and, of course, Audierne.
The minor road "Route du vent solaire" runs alongside Audierne bay and so, ensures to marvel at beautiful landscapes from our seasonal rentals to Audierne.
Audierne is an interesting stopping place on the road which links Penmarc’h to the Pointe du Raz, the Baie des Trépassés and the Pointe du Van.
The port of Audierne became now mainly a port of anglers. Number of fishermen fetches the sea bass in the currents between the Pointe du Raz and Sein Island.
On the road which links Saint-Guénolé to Audierne, there is, in addition to the luxurious landscapes, numerous places of interest to visit as the Tronoën Calvary (one of the most important calvary of Brittany), the chapel Saint-Vio, the ruins of Languidou ( magnificent granite rosette). A bit further Audierne, Saint-Tugen church is worth the trip.
On the way back, it is also interesting to stop in Pont-Croix, an attractive village which received the quality-label "petite cité de caractère " (like Locronan).
